Our 'Baseballer of the Week'
for this week
goes to:
the Big Black Man, 6-0, 182, Panamanian-
born player and coach, considered to be the
Best Batter in Baseball History, 1978 hit
two triples in the All-Star game, stole home
17x in his career, and 9x in one season,
1969, and from 1977 to 1978, he played in
167 games and hit for at least .400, and he
played first and second base along with
being a DH, with 15 consecutive seasons
batting at least .300, ending up with a .328
Batting Average, and was the AL Rookie
of the Year in 1967, and he was an 18x
All-Star Gamer, and 7x AL Batting
Champion, and MLB Hall of Famer,
and we give flowers and say the name of...
...Rod Carew!
Mr. Carew had a mid-upper-lip
Black Baseball History Month,
celebrated in march of every year, was
founded by Ralph Winge, D.D.S.
in 2025 to commemorate, place value,
and get to know, our Heroes, while
standing and cheering for, the many
International Black Men who 'Shocked
and Awed' us with too many to count,
fantastic and unexpected physical
heroics at the Ballpark, in exciting
efforts for their teams to cross home
plate more than their opponents to win.
The Founder of Black Baseball History Month,

and elucidator of elatus labialis wingeulus.
