Our Inaugural 'Baseballer of the Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Guy, 6-0, 240, whose right-handed 

baseball instincts entertained many fans of the sport, 

plus he is considered one of the best 

'hot corner' third baseman of all time, 

and he was a 4x All-Star Gamer, a 5x Golden Glove 

winner, a 4x Sliver Slugger winner, and led the NL 

in home runs in 2004. and was begged to come 

into the MLB HOF in 2024, 

and so much more...

Black Baseball History Month!... Baseballer Of The Week!...Satchel Paige!


Our 'Baseballer of the Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Guy, 6-3, 190, who played the 

game for five decades and who would ask 

the infielders to 'take a break and relax' 

while he would strike out all the batters 

who faced him, and he was the first Black 

pitcher in the American League, and was 

59 years old when he 'hung it up,' 

additionally, he played in the Negro 

League and MLB with pride and 

brilliance and won the 1948 World 

Series with Black teammate Larry Doby, and 

joined the Hall of Fame August 9, 1971, 

plus he did a lot more...

Black Baseball History Month!... Baseballer Of The Week!...Henry 'Hank' Aaron!

  

Our Inaugural 'Baseballer of the Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Guy, 6-0, 180, known as 

'Hammerin' Hank' who was a multiple 

Golden Glove winner, #1 in RBIs, extra 

base hits, and total bases, and was an 

All-Star for 21 seasons, a World Series 

winner, oh, and he broke Babe Ruth's 

Home Run Record and eventually 

totaled 755 homers, plus he always 

gave one of the best pitchers, Sandy 

Koufax, a hard time, hitting .362 off 

of him with 7 homers, 

and way so much more...

Black Baseball History Month!... Baseballer Of The Week!...Cool Papa Bell!

   

Our 'Baseballer of the Week'

for this week 

goes to:

The Big Black Guy, 6-0, 155, who was 'as fast 

as lightning' around the bases, and was a 2x 

Negro World Series Champion, and an 8x

All-Star Gamer, and routinely stole second 

and third after getting a single or walk, 

and he would irritate pitchers so much 

that they were frequently charged with a 

balk, and he had .325 career batting 

average, and got into the MLB HOF 

in 1974,

 plus more records...

Black Baseball History Month!... Baseballer Of The Week!...Weldy Walker!


  

Our 'Baseballer of the Week'

for this week 

goes to: 

the Big Black Guy, 6-2, 190, who was the 

third Black Man to play Pro Baseball, 

when he joined his brother Moses 

Walker two months after he started, 

and played admirably with the Toledo 

Blue Stockings for two years, then 

left to play in the Negro League, and 

he also played on the baseball teams at 

Oberlin College and U. Michigan, then 

he published and edited a Black-centered 

Newspaper with his brother Moses, 

called The Equator,

and so much more...
